Seeking skilled automotive body technicians to add to our team of skilled craftsman. This position is for those passionate about their craft with 10+ years’ experience as a professional bodyman, metal fabricator or comboman.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented group of artisans as we build factory correct vintage cars, muscle cars, classic car restorations, and custom resto-mods. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
The right candidate believes in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay, is self-motivated, has precise attention to detail, and it talented in his/her craft. Responsibilities include removing dents, hammer and dolly high spots and low spots, mud work, prep, blocksand, and gap and fit precision. Preferred but not required is the abiliuty to be proficient in metal fabrications and modifications (complete major body panel replacements). Former experience with classic car restorations, street rods, vintage vehicles, and special interest vehicles is a plus.
Must have tools and quality blocks for blocksanding. Must be hardworking and highly talented to join an already talented team of artisans who take pride in the cars we build. We do not train – this position is for a highly skilled craftsman with over 10+ years of experience in the workforce. Working at home or with family does not count.
Responsibilities
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Must have your own tools and be work ready.
Remove dents and straighten body panels.
Repair/ replace rusted sheet metal: welding, cutting, soldering, grinding, brazing, and polishing.
Complete body filler and block sanding on metal and fiberglass.
Disassemble and reassemble vehicles.
Must be able to work independently as well as within the team.
Must have attention to detail, be reliable and hardworking.
